Hello, Public.

Lobby vibes.

The Public in all its glory.

Public rite of passage: riding up and down the escalator for the perfect selfie.

: I don’t remember how I managed to capture the café without people, was it late? Was it early? Was I drunk?

Cabinet of curiosities.

Still searching for that perfect selfie.

Let there be (infinite) light.

Cozy AF.

Minimal shower still life.

Complimentary bikes for guests.

NYC you never disappoint.

Highs & Lows

  • Those escalators. Yes, they’ve been all over your Instagram feed, but in person their magic never gets old.

  • In a perfect world, the lobby would be my apartment.

  • The architecture is amazing - tucked just far enough into Chrystie Street, you would never expect to find this sleek playground for the senses waiting beyond a few discreet bushes.

  • I was in the heart of NYC but never wanted to leave the hotel, is that weird?

  • Appealing to all us independent travelers, there’s a self-service closet on each floor where you can stock up on additional towels, toiletries, and…ice!

  • The staff, you guys were awesome.
