The private jetty for guests to take the water taxi.

One of the peaceful reading rooms in the main house.

The incredible view from the restaurant where dinner was served each evening.

Our spacious room that included double-balcony doors that opened up toward the pool.

The double-balcony doors.

Looking out from the pool towards the hotel rooms.

Beachside cafe & beachside loungin.

The place we spent most of the week lapping up the rays.

One of the cozy cottages.

The water sports shed with free rentals for snorkeling and kayaking.

Another beach view.

Blue skies!

Looking up at the main lobby of the hotel.

Highs & Lows

  • The restaurant is supplied by the herb and vegetable garden on the grounds so you know the produce is fresh and organic (they even give garden tours to explain medicinal uses for some herbs).

  • An on-demand water taxi is available to take you from your own jetty to the neighboring town known as Nelson’s Dockyard, which is great for exploring and yacht-spotting.

  • The hotel organizes different events during the week to mix up the evenings for guests. Thursday was our favorite with a steel drum band playing on the beach.

  • An abundance of water sport activities with free snorkeling and kayaking equipment right on your very own beach.

  • Mosquitos were present, but not so obnoxious to us…so more mosquito repellent would’ve been helpful.
