Highs + Lows

  • Impeccable, friendly service. Every interaction with the staff made us feel like welcomed special guests.

  • Their mid-century modern, beachy decor is perfection. From the ceramic lamps, to curated quarterlies in the rooms, to the tile in the restaurant, bathrooms, and pool (oh the tile!), and the Roberta Oaks uniforms, each item blends perfectly into their brand, weaving in local artists and designers whenever possible.

  • A packed calendar of events at the hotel means you don’t have to go anywhere to be at the center of the action. From live DJs, to local beer tastings, to surf lessons and yoga on the rooftop, Surfjack keeps it cool and interesting.

  • The Surfjack has a hospitality suite for guests to shower, nap, or simply hang out in if their flight doesn’t leave until late (and hours after checkout). This was a lifesaver for us after a sweaty day at the beach and a 10:00pm flight on checkout day.

  • Too lazy to get coffee in the morning? No problemo, simply call the front desk and they’ll bring a warm cup of jo to your room.

  • In addition to having one of the best restaurants in Waikiki on their property, they also have one of the best boutiques and coffee shops: Olive + Oliver. Earthy, stylish clothes, Hawaiian inspired décor, and Surfjack souvenirs (we left with a shirt and were very tempted by their enamel mugs!).

  • Really can't think of anything for them to improve upon. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to go back.
