Although my room was plush and well-designed, the space itself was bit too tight to photograph properly. I chose the classic downtown NYCity view instead.

I really dug the branded sweatshirts fashioning the lobby team. Wish I had some gear for myself (cough, cough).

Employees of 11 Howard seamlessly blend into the general atmosphere of the place itself.

“Freaks of Nature.”

Examples of Danish design-styled lighting schemes, both warm and calming, in the lobby reminds me of Copenhagen.

The winding, metallic black staircase leading to the second floor of 11 Howard.

Truth be told; philosophical messages leading to 11 Howard’s in-house nightclub, The Blonde. Wallet-clenchers beware, $10 Heinkens will do you dirty.

The beautiful lounge space where I humbly ate my breakfast.

A mid-afternoon cocktail inside The Blonde.

While entering 11 Howard, tucked away on a cobbestone side street in southern SoHo, a certain level of class and luxury precedes your entrance.

Highs & Lows

  • Beautiful Danish design and a smooth, clean aesthetic in the lobby.

  • Having a nightclub in your hotel makes life a bit more simple.

  • Collaborations with social and environmentally beneficial organizations.

  • A bit too high-tech service. I’m a personal fan of low-fi.
