Highs & Lows
-
The food at Electric Lemon. It was divine!
-
The techno treatments at the spa. I checked into the hotel after a couple of days in transit and moving stuff in and out of storage. I consider myself to be in good shape, but 14 non-stop hours carrying books and boxes were so taxing on my body I was skeptic any kind of spa treatment could bring me relieve. Quite surprisingly, it only took 30 minutes in deep infrared chamber combined with 3 minutes of cryotherapy to make me feel new again.
-
I know Equinox is known to gather a fit and fine crowd, but damn those cardio and strength training floors were oozing sexiness!
-
The team. Smart and smiley, knowledgeable about the hotel, the club and the area. It was such a pleasure to meet them.
-
After a night out, I was anticipating getting back to dimmed lights, untucked bed sheets, slippers ready for cozy times, perhaps a soft background music... Turndown service would’ve been greatly appreciated.
-
Landing at the fitness club can be daunting for a first-timer. A little guidance on how to navigate the floors and equipment would be super helpful.

Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience
To come through such a massive and impressive artwork as The Vessel to reach the hotel is an experience in its own. The hotel shares the building with a residential complex too, with independent entrances around the corner from each other. Equinox New York's lobby is on the fourth floor, where you will be greeted by a stylish team (hi Dapper Dan!) who will check you in and make sure you have everything you need at all times.
-
Future Forward
I would love to go back to the hotel and find out they eliminated all plastic water bottles from lobby and rooms...

Health & Wellness
The gym here isn’t a mere hotel amenity. I'd rather say this is the ultimate fitness club (Equinox Hudson Yards) that comes with a hotel (Equinox New York) and a spa (The Spa by Equinox Hotels). 60,000 square feet of cardio and strength training equipment, group classes, saunas, indoor and outdoor pools and a wraparound terrace with 360 views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. And the spa has a comprehensive array of treatments and equipments.

Food
Electric Lemon, the in-house restaurant is simply WOW
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
Electric Lemon is also the bar — a very sough-after spot attracting the after-work crowd from the area. Delicious cocktails, stunning sunset views and a good flirt.
-
Minibar & Retail
I know people who judge a hotel by their minibar selection — I had to messaged them with a few pictures from here. It was way beyond the usual suspects. Delicious treats, both healthy and naughty, flanked by sexual wellness goodies, workout gear and a wide choice of supplements, drinks and potions created to help you wind down or start your day with a power boost.

The Hudson Yards were presented in 2019 as Manhattan's newest neighborhood, decentralizing the visitors’ flow from Times Square while giving New Yorkers a new hub for art, business and wellness. Staying here means you are close to the city's main venues hosting major arts, culture, sports, business and tech events.
