Haven
Where:Montauk
Why:Summer weekend.
When:August 2015
Who:Various pals.

‘Murica.

The store is a highlight, selling primarily conscious goods from vintage Levi’s cut-offs to straw clutches and floaty cover-ups.

There’s a gorgeous secret garden area with grills and a fire pit.

Also in the store: the best saltwater taffy we’ve ever had in our entire lives.

The reception area with cameo by our friend Gigi Burris. They serve coffee all day and various cakes and pastries in the morning.

Adorable mini-picnic bench for lil’ kids.

The hotel is close to the docks of Montauk.

There’s a kidney-shaped pool!

The rooms are simple, bright and white.

Surfing book? Check. On-trend mini succulent? Check. Chicness? Check.

I mean, who wouldn’t want to take over this garden and have a cookout tho?

Cuteness.
Highs & Lows
The rooms are soooooo cute. A perfect example of less is more.
Water in each room on check in. Never underestimate the importance of free bottled water!
Some bathrooms aren’t updated yet. They’re fine right now but when they’re done it will be perfection!
Mini-bar as an amenity would be welcome!

A conscious clothing and accessories store in the town center. Absolutely amazing stuff.

John’s Ice-Cream
677 Montauk Hwy, Montauk, NY 11954, United States
A Montauk staple offering the most insanely delicious homemade ice-cream. It melts weirdly fast though – so get a ton of napkins. And like, wet wipes.
