"Moody, tactile, quietly extravagant and just the right amount of mischievous"
Highs & Lows
-
Location. I don't think there could be a better location for a hotel in New York. A treat to walk around this area, so much to do while still feeling local and not touristy, Downtown, Uptown and Brooklyn are all withing easy reach from here.
-
Design. The spaces are beautiful, sexy, inviting. The lighting is just perfect throughout. And the dialogue with the London property with some recurrent design elements is so well done, consistent but never repetitive.
-
Service. The absolute highlight. Every single person I met made me feel genuinely special. And this is the only real magic any hotel can claim.
-
The food. I'd be back here time and again just to eat, eat, eat.
-
I get that Acqua Panna looks somewhat chic and the bottles are glass, not plastic (although these still go to trash, sadly). But a local brand that doesn't have to travel thousands of miles would feel even more elevated.
-
Staying at the hotel does grants you access to the members' Living Room space, but not to the restaurant, bar or nightclub. Although I am pretty positive you will know someone who knows someone…

A sensitive restoration of a landmarked 1891 building designed for independent working women, preserving original craft and reimagining it for today. A highlight. Expect refined comfort with pristine produce, elegant sauces, nostalgic desserts perfected at the molecular level.
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
Union Square's new golden hour. A members' floor with clinking glasses, low ceilings and conversational corners. Downstairs, the restaurant and bar pull in a fluid mix of neighbors, creatives and global wanderers. Nights feel intimate yet alive.
-
Minibar & Retail
Thoughtful, not cluttered. Quality spirits, beautifully packaged snacks and a few cheeky indulgences. Classic glass bottles, zero plastic. Standouts lean toward elevated aperitivo culture and the glassware is impressive.
