Highs + Lows

  • A feast for the nose – fragrant flowers outside, the sweet aroma of baked cookies inside.

  • Location – surrounded by grand old mansions and soaring maples, and it’s just a few minutes stroll from the quaint main street and shops on Ocean Ave.

  • The service – the staff were so friendly, so excited to have us there and so eager to make us feel welcome.

  • The hot breakfast window was a bit narrow – served only from 8.30 to 9.30 am…not ideal for those with an early getaway time or penchant for sleep-ins.

  • Too little time! Our fault, not theirs.
