Highs & Lows

  • It’s nice to see a revitalization of these smaller motels that sat empty and unattended. Studiotack knows how to design well and decorate so things felt cool, easy and on the eye and on the right track. Especially considering its next to a horse track.

Important Bits

  • Type

A vintage motel conversion, aspirational. It says “hey we could someday do this."

  • Vibe

Vintage motel vibes. Reimagined and layered with quirky equestrian accessories and decor. Brass but not basic. A nod to the horse tracks down the street in detail and forgiving. Great colors and shades of green and black. Feels like Ralph Lauren dressing meets a quirky hipster camp. It’s really familiar and easy to grasp.

  • Location

Saratoga Springs, near the race track - great location to be especially when the tracks are open. Place your bets, it will be booked during weekends for race season. Perfect for those who love horses like me.

  • Rooms

    22 redone, simple and clean.

  • Music

Great lil’ record player in the lobby bar with an assortment of cool vinyl. BYOV if you are feeling like traveling with records, I am certain they would accommodate a few requests. Although they didn’t have it playing much.

  • Year Opened

    2017

  • Designed By

    Studio Tack.

  • Health & Wellness

NO. However an excellent opportunity to channel that outdoor version of you. Rustic realness.

  • Restaurant

    None.

  • Bar

Super small but great drinks. Excellent lighting during the day, the sun just soaks in and casts a beautiful glow in the room. They have a vintage record player that adds a cool vibe. In the morning they set out free coffee and its pretty darn good.

  • Minibar

Classic snacks, no booze in the mini bar, but they had a few cold ones waiting for me after my long drive.

  • Children

    Are they well behaved?

  • Price

    Doable.
