The deep-seated built-in couch is so comfy! And they personalized the books on the coffee table to meet our interests, including some kid's books for my daughter!

The kitchen area is very well equipped — a full pantry and two stocked fridges with fantastic options, including fresh ground coffee
A lush approach to and from the beach and pools — every pathway is framed with nature
The Palm Heights' spa, located just across the street from the main hotel property, feels like its own secret sanctuary with a stunning pool and lounge beds
The golden marble-clad Hamman at the spa. I had the most incredible body scrub treatment here by Omar
Be immersed in nature with these soaking tubs built from travertine stone at the spa
The music lounge is a great place to escape the sun and have some chill time outside of your room. It’s filled with instruments, books and gorgeous designer furniture
The main restaurant, Tillies, is perfectly situated, sprawling onto the beach and extra pretty at night
Paradise Pizza is another restaurant gem tucked away on the hotel grounds. It has great food and a super fun vibe
Pilates on the roof with a gentle breeze is a great way to start the day. It was a real workout… Excellent complimentary wellness programs here
Ultra-light beams with a very good iced coffee
Eating breakfast here daily, with good options to make us all happy, sets the day off perfectly

This place is super conscious regarding the design and experience — every detail has been considered responsibly and with the environment in mind. I didn't see any toxic plastic anywhere. Glass water bottles in the rooms with refill and ice stations on each floor

The music is great… A totally relaxed vibe. And appropriately upbeat when the moment calls for it. Fun but not intrusive. I loved it

A dreamy spa with a serene outdoor marble maze engulfed with tropical plants. Travertine tubs, ice and hot plunge pools, hammam, and sauna are all situated and sometimes hidden around an incredible pool and lounge area. I could spend the whole day there blissfully! The hotel has a strong focus on wellness & fitness, a superb gym, fitness classes led by experts from around the world, and continuous special retreat programming

The food is one of the reasons I will most definitely return to this hotel. Executive Chef Jake Brodsky has done an incredible job with a great and delicious menu at Tillies, the main restaurant. Paradise Pizza includes gluten-free options, and Coco Cub — the beachside restaurant has excellent sushi and Japanese dishes. Food for everyone. And you can order from all three places, whether by the beach, the pool, or in the room

There’s a bar within each restaurant, plus an additional speakeasy cocktail lounge- hidden within the hotel. I was lucky enough to have a private cocktail class there with Alberto. He showed me how to make their famous Jalisco Margarita — which is the perfect marg you’ll ever have. I also had great times between the curated events and dining in each of the three restaurants and the speakeasy

Palm Heights is located on the famous seven-mile beach — the sand is like powder, and the sea is crystal clear turquoise. From the hotel, you can walk to the Caymana Bay complex, which has some nice shops and cafés if you feel the need for a change. I did a couple of boat trips and horseback riding along the beach and in the ocean, which was fun.
